Contemporary art is not concerned with only one type of the art. The installations usually comprise different materials and techniques from spheres of human life including electronics, science and audio or visual systems. Besides, sometimes the newest know-how also happens to be an inherent part of the contemporary pieces of art. More than that, some exhibitions put a new beginning for a valuable scientific essay term paper.
The modern artist Bill Spinhoven was one of the first who designed such type of works. The work represents “the state of the art” – a tend that started in 1980’s after the technological progress. That event was studied by some quality custom writing.
This was the first version in color of the Time Stretcher, built by the artist from existing computer components. The original project of this work describes the construction in such a way: “The installation consists of a monitor, a computer, a camera and a sundial sculpture. The camera is mounted in the upper section of the pole, a mirror is attached to capture the movements, the monitor projects the images” .
The special technique built in the monitor deforms the images. The images of the viewer are transformed through the forth dimension which is time. So, sooner or later, a spectator, who is going around the installation, will see his/her own distorted image on the screen. The project was very popular in 1990 in ICN Collections, Rijswijk and was reinstalled in 2007.
